A joint SARAF–WIS mini-workshop is bringing together experts to discuss the Time Projection Chamber (TPC) detectors at SARAF and beyond. The program covers the SARAF facility and physics motivation for a TPC at SARAF-II, advances in optical TPC development at WIS, simulation and commissioning results, and status updates of current detectors.
A second session broadens the scope with talks on major international TPC projects, including DUNE (liquid argon), XENON/XLZD (liquid xenon), NEXT (high-pressure xenon), and ongoing TPC activities at FRIB and the University of Warsaw. The day concludes with an open discussion fostering collaboration and future directions.
