Simplifying quantum simulations

In this seminar, I will discuss about our efforts to use classically efficient tools that can speed up both classical and quantum simulations. The main focus will be our protocols to measure quantum computers, that allow a direct estimation of the error in addition to the average. And how to use Clifford unitaries to find symmetries in the system that can be exploited to lower the number of qubits or the complexity of the variational circuits needed in the simulation
