The 28th International Conference on Accelerators and Beam Utilizations (ICABU 2026) will be held at Hwabaek Convention Center (HICO) in Gyeongju, Korea, from November 16 to 18, 2026.
Traditionally, the conference has addressed emerging issues in advanced accelerator technologies and the utilization of photons, electrons, protons, neutrons, and ions across a wide range of research fields, including NT, BT, IT, ET, ST, RT, medical applications, materials science, and basic science. While maintaining its unique spirit, this conference will highlight major accelerator projects, as well as biomedical and industrial applications, through plenary sessions and dedicated parallel sessions.
The plenary sessions will review major accelerator projects, as well as the latest status and future perspectives of biomedical and industrial applications of accelerators and particle beams. Parallel sessions will be organized to discuss recent developments and key issues in accelerator technologies, synchrotron light applications, biomedical applications of accelerators, and industrial applications of accelerators.
In addition, a poster session will be arranged to present advanced research results across a wide range of research fields.
