First US FCC Hackathon! I pitched this idea as "a work-workshop" at the Fermilab/Argonne meeting in April.
https://indico.cern.ch/e/bnl-fcc-workworkshop
It's a "workshop" in the original sense (not just a series of talks, we will sit together and work on projects). There will be two highlight talks (Charlie Young on "Lessons Learned from Past Detector Design" and Stefan Hoeche on "Monte Carlo challenges in pp vs e+e- collisions") and an opportunity for everyone to present their work at the end of the week
~30 people registered (most in person)
~6 "work packages" proposed
I hope this can grow into a semi-regular event :)
