Description

The purpose of this workshop is to explore connections between quantum information processing and many-body physics. We aim to bridge the gap between two complementary ways of looking at many-qubit systems: on the one hand, as externally controlled computational devices, and on the other as autonomous dynamical systems, capable of self-organisation. The discussion will focus on recent developments in our understanding of many-body quantum dynamics, including circuit dynamics, hydrodynamics, and error correction, as well as computational questions relating to quantum simulation, complexity, and the development of new quantum algorithms. We hope to bring together researchers in the UK and internationally to promote exchanges of ideas and the fostering of new networks between these two communities.
