Description
The cobordism hypothesis, proposed by Baez and Doran, states that a fully extended topological quantum field theory (TQFT) corresponds to a fully dualizable object of the target category as the image of a point. A sketch of a proof has been announced by Lurie, but a complete rigorous proof has not yet been published. In this talk, I will explain the statement concerning the cobordism category and present a sketch of the sketch of its proof.
