Quantum entanglement, a defining concept in quantum mechanics, is becoming a bridge between quantum physics and high-energy physics. As particle physics, high-energy experimental precision and quantum information science advance, investigating the generation, evolution, and detection of entangled states of high-energy particles has become an attractive topic in particle physics and high-energy experiments. WQC, a global forefront platform for quantum physics research and cross-disciplinary collaboration, positions this workshop as a key venue for academic exchange and partnership.
Wilczek Quantum Center (WQC) at Shanghai Institute for Advanced Studies (SIAS) of USTC was established in May, 2024. It conducts theoretical researches on all areas of physics related to quantum mechanics, including but not limited to quantum information, cold atom physics, theory of quantum matter, quantum optics, high energy physics, quantum-related biological problems, etc.
