Description

Using advanced compaction function statistics, we found that a given set of primordial fluctuations can produce a primordial black hole mass function that differs significantly from the usual expectation.
After outlining the physics behind this result, I will discuss how it could affect the interpretation of a primordial gravitational-wave detection with LISA.
