The use of Artificial intelligence in High Energy Physics has been growing in past years. 

In this event we will have a series of lectures on introduction to machine learning and several research seminars devoted to the topic of Artificial intelligence in High Energy Physics. 

 

This event is part of the Marie Curie Staff exchange project - HeI and is organized by its nodes.

 

The conference will be held on-site at EPFL - École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from 10 to 20 of June 2025. 

 

Participation is by invitation only due to limited space. Contact one of the members of the consortium of the HeI project if you have any questions. 

 

The program includes:

  • a set of lectures by Giuseppe Carleo on Machine learning for hep as well as a series of hands-on tutorials by Luciano Viteritti, Zakari Denis
  • seminars by Francesco Aprile, Filipe Serrano, Bruno Fernandes, Julio Oliveira and Ricardo Rodrigues.

 

All participants (in-person) are kindly requested to register. The deadline for registration is April 30, 2025.  The registration fee is 300 CHF. See the [Registration] and [Payment] pages for further information.
