Description
Most EPICS Collaboration meetings have a talk from someone in the Core Developers Group which follows this formula: List some recent releases of EPICS and describe the major changes that were included in the latest; introduce some exciting new features that have been merged into the development branch since that last release; outline some functionality that's still being developed or is under review and might be in the next release; and mention that at some point we will create a new Git branch for the next release series, delete a bunch of old code and add some new code that isn't compatible with the older compilers and targets that we won't be supporting any more.
This is a lightning version of that talk.
