Lothar A T Bauerdick (Fermi National Accelerator Lab. (US)), Mike Hance (UC Santa Cruz)

Slides cover most content.  Some questions on computing resources at BNL:

Q: What is it like to get a BNL account?  Is training required?

A: Computer safety training, similar to CERN.  Otherwise not too painful, but can take a while.  Will work out the kinks with some test cases before broad roll-out.

Lothar will be a test case, trying to get account/access as a CMS user!

Q: accounting for CPU usage, disk, etc?

A: yes, disk is separate and can track usage by user, CPU fair-share through condor with details being worked out

Q: timeline?

A: Aiming to be able to accept users for US-HF/FCC workshop in April

Q: disk accessible through xcache?

A: in principle yes, to be followed up.
