Session 1 - Computing - Overview of the framework

Generally recommended for all participants as a prerequisite to all other modules. 1. Generate some HepMC+Ascii events 2. Write a very simple custom module 3. Plot an observable from JETSCAPE output files

Session 2 - Physics lectures - overviews of event generators from a theoretical and experimental perspective

A series of invited talks covering some of the physics we are interested in for the JETSCAPE framework

Session 3 - Hydrodynamics and hadronic transport

Hands-on session regarding the bulk of QGP

Session 4 - Jets

Hands-on session regarding generation of jets in HI environment

Session 5 - Bayesian Analyses

Do a Bayesian analysis with simple emulator 2. Add complexity with more parameters and more observables 3. Try out a more complex emulator (Gaussian process) and see its benefits

We will be recording the Zoom sessions and intend to post the lecture sessions online for future use. Your name and voice may be recorded if you ask questions during this time. How we collect personal information about you We collect this information directly from you when you register for the Program.

How we use your personal information We use your personal information for a number of legitimate purposes all in support of the Program and its mission. Specifically, we use your personal information to: • Process your registration for the Program. • Communicate with you about Program details and events. • Summarize and report aggregated statistics to the Program’s funding agencies.

How your information is stored and secured The Program uses risk-assessed administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information, including access controls.

How long we keep your personal information We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you information about the Program; to maintain a record of your participation in the Program; for audit, and compliance purposes; and to comply with Vanderbilt's legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce its agreements, and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Rights for Individuals in the European Economic Area You have the right in certain circumstances to (1) access your personal information; (2) to correct or erase information; (3) restrict processing; and (4) object to communications, direct marketing, or profiling.
