The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) is designed to be a world-class experiment for the study of neutrino oscillations with the unique characteristic of combining several measurements within a same experiment: determination of the neutrino mass ordering, search for CP violation in the neutrino sector, and precision measurements of neutrino mixing. DUNE will also study low energy neutrinos (core-collapse supernova and solar neutrinos) and search for baryon number violating processes. A wide band neutrino beam over a long baseline and liquid Ar Time Projection Chamber detectors located deep underground are essential components to achieve the physics goals.
