Searching for new physics via FASER$\nu$ and SND@LHC
by
In the collisions of the proton beams at the LHC interaction points, large fluxes of neutrinos of all three flavors are produced. During the run III of the LHC, two dedicated forwards detectors, FASER$\nu$ and SND@LHC, will study these fluxes. There are also elaborate plans for upgrades for the high luminosity run of the LHC. I shall discuss the possibility of searching for new physics by these detectors. I will show that these experiments are best suited for discovering a dark sector with masses of few 100 MeV to $\sim 10$~GeV that go through chain decay. These forward experiments can also explore beyond standard model interactions of neutrinos.
