Seminar

Global fits direct from the Lagrangian and latest physics results with GAMBIT 2

by Pat Scott (The University of Queensland)

Australia/Sydney
Description

I will showcase some recent developments in the theory capabilities of GAMBIT, the Global and Modular Beyond-the-Standard Model Inference Tool.  This will include GUM, the GAMBIT system for auto-generating code for computing predictions and likelihoods directly from the Lagrangian, new results on dark matter effective field theories, and a new spin-off tool called ColliderBit Solo (CBS), which allows users to apply GAMBIT LHC analyses to any Monte Carlo event sample (a la CheckMATE).
