Description

The Hubble constant H0 is a key parameter determining the rate of the Universe’s expansion. Presently, the discrepancy between the low and high redshift measurements of H0 is the highest significance tension within the concordance ΛCDM paradigm. We show that a rotating dark-fluid variant of the concordance model resolves this tension with an angular velocity today ω0 ≲ 10−3 Gyr-1.Curiously, this is approximately also the fastest rotation with a tangential velocity less than the
speed of light at the horizon.
