Description
There is a class of physical systems that do not obey the laws of Classical Mechanics but they either obey Quantum Mechanics, these are the mesoscopic systems. In this work, we present a collection of studies of mesoscopic systems on various aspects. From classical signatures in quantum systems, to processes that lead a quantum system to have so-called "classic" behavior. As we show, if we try decide if a system is classical it depends on the choice of the observable as well as our definition of classical. In our investigations, we conclude that there is a wide range of situations ( significative regions in parameters's space) where the best approach is via approximate theories, such as open quantum systems, and therefore we can say that the best general formulation is neither classical nor quantum but something between bolth.
