Description

This presentation delves into the phenomenon of Higgs vacuum
decay. The measured masses of the top quark and Higgs boson support the
notion that the Higgs potential becomes unstable at high field values,
leading to a potential decay. We investigate a scenario where the Higgs
boson is non-minimally coupled with both the Ricci scalar and the Holst
invariant within the framework of metric-affine gravity. Our findings
reveal that this framework significantly enhances the vacuum stability
across a wide range of model parameters. However, certain regions within
the parametric space are found to be prohibited.
