  2. 31. The New Injection Veto System for the Belle II Expreiment.

    Belle II実験は、入射の影響により生じる背景事象(Beam background)を防ぐためにinjection vetoを採用しているが、今後の高いLuminosity環境でも円滑なデータ収集を続けるためにはこの系統の改良が必要である。本講演では、ビーム背景事象の状況に応じたActive injection vetoシステムの開発について説明する。

    b->s nu nubar decay is theoretically clean and related to the righ-handed current. Because there is no right-handed current in the standard model, this decay is interesting. By measuring the upper limit of the branching ratio of b->s nu nubar decay, limits on the right-handed component of the Wilson coefficient can be obtained.   4. 33. Belle II 実験 ARICH 検出器アップグレードのための信号読み出しASICの性能評価

    Belle II実験のエンドキャップ部の荷電K・π中間子の識別を担うARICH検出器はエアロゲルと光検出器により、チェレンコフリングを検出する。現在運用中の光検出器HAPDは生産終了のため将来のアップグレードでMPPCへの置換が検討されており、MPPC用に新たなASICを開発中である。これには1光子検出とダークパルス分離性能が要求され、本講演ではレーザーパルス光とMPPCを用いて行ったASICの性能評価を報告する。
