Description

Supercell is a mobile game company known for creating some of the world’s most popular games, such as Clash of Clans, Hay Day, Brawl Stars and Clash Royale with hundreds of millions of players.

In this session, we bring together the worlds of game development and data to explore how data is used to improve games. From building large-scale data infrastructure to teaching bots through reinforcement learning, and from interpreting player data to making product decisions in game teams, this session dives into the shared challenges of working with data at scale.

We’ll cover:

  • How we collect, structure, and manage massive volumes of gameplay data

  • How we apply machine learning (especially reinforcement learning) to train bots to help developers balance the game in testing phase.

  • How our game teams use data to guide creative decision-making

This session is about cross-pollination finding inspiration in how different disciplines approach uncertainty, experimentation, and the pursuit of insight.
