This one day workshop will provide an overview of the status and preparations for establishing the Bedretto Underground Laboratory as facility for fundamental physics. We will discuss lab and science driver, discuss the upcoming infrastructure proposal and we will present a detailed analysis of current background measurements, and possible future measurements.
