We would like to announce an IABA Collaboration (the ICTS comprising CMAM and CNA) meeting, in the area of Nuclear Physics. The purpose of this meeting is to gain a clearer understanding of the work carried out by the Nuclear Physics community and to better coordinate future efforts.
IABA is a distributed Singular Scientific-Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) called Accelerator-Based Application Infrastructure. IABA is formed by two nodes, the National Accelerator Center (CNA) and the Materials Micro-Analysis Center (CMAM).
This event will provide an opportunity for participants to share updates, exchange ideas, and discuss potential collaborations. It will include short presentations on current activities and future plans from each group, followed by discussion and coordination.
Meeting Agenda
The general meeting will be organized as follows:
The meeting will begin with presentations introducing the two nodes, CMAM and CNA. These introductory presentations will provide an overview of the facilities and their activities.
Following this, each group will be invited to present its work. We kindly ask each group to prepare a short presentation of approximately 12 minutes.
Each presentation should include:
· Introduction of the group
· Overview of work carried out at international facilities
· Previous and planned work at CMAM/CNA
· Needs and requirements from the two facilities
After all presentations, a round-table discussion will take place.
PLEASE register in order to know the room that will be needed.
This one-day meeting will be held in person at IEM-CSIC in Madrid
