In this month, the QFT-GW Group at SEU, led by Zhengwen Liu, doubled its size by welcoming three new members:
In addition to this, last Sunday, September 14th, marked the 10th anniversary of the first direct detection of Gravitational Waves (GWs) by LIGO—a cornerstone achievement for our field.
To welcome our new colleagues and celebrate this historic scientific milestone, we will be holding a group lunch this Saturday, September 20th. Please join us for good food and great conversation!
Shall we meet at 11:45 at the Yau center, in the Sipailou campus of the Southeast University and go together to the designated restaurant (TBA).
After lunch, we also plan to head to the Xuanwu Lake (玄武湖) for a walk. It's a great chance to enjoy the scenery and get to know each other better outside the academic environment.
