“The Second International High Energy Physics School in Western China” will stimulate the field of high energy physics in Western China and its neighboring countries. It could boost those region's education and research level by training and attracting a new generation of highly qualified young scientists, and create opportunities and international collaborations between people in China and neighboring countries.
The Summer School will take place during August 1 - 7 followed by the Topical Workshop which is scheduled during August 9 - 10. Most recent progresses, both theoretical and experimental, in high energy physics will be discussed in the Workshop. August 8 is planned for free activities.
