Important follow on points:
1) Mary informed the audience about the tau workshop to be organized in Cincinatti. NuTau2021
2) Jonathan emphasized the need to organize before the next long shutdown of LHC. There is new work
regarding dark matter scattering from nuclei.
3) Questions regarding liquid argon parameters and event reconstruction
Is the angular measurement needed: yes, because there are many other backgrounds from photons (gamma rays from muon showers in the nearby materials, as well as neutrino interactions.
What quality of timing is really needed ? There are 3 issues here.
a. timing needed to separate the particles within a single drift time
b. timing needed to associate an event with a bunch crossing (25 ns)
c. timing needed to associate with an individual collision from a bunch crossing. This is being worked on.
4) Felix provided a list of studies that are needed.
Maria provided a list of papers that are in the works.
Next meeting in August or early September. Milind will send a poll out or determine a regular time.
