Description
Fundamental particles that are not predicted by the Standard Model may exist provided they are heavier than the reach of current experiments, or are too weakly coupled, or produce signals with too large backgrounds. The LHC experiments have the capability of pushing the boundary of knowledge in all these three directions. In this talk I will present a few cases of hypothetical particles that could be discovered by the end of this decade, opening a window towards deeper laws of physics.
