DESCRIPTION:The DAE-BRNS High Energy Physics (HEP) Symposium stands as a d
istinguished biennial event in India\, sponsored by the Board of Research
in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). Th
is symposium serves as a pivotal platform for the dissemination and discus
sion of cutting-edge research in the field of high-energy physics. The XXV
I edition of the symposium is hosted by Banaras Hindu University (BHU)\, V
aranasi\, underscoring the institution's prominent role in advancing scien
tific research.\nThe symposium is structured to feature both parallel and
invited plenary sessions\, offering a comprehensive agenda that caters to
a wide array of interests within the high-energy physics community. These
sessions will encompass a broad spectrum of topics\, including but not lim
 ited to particle physics\, astroparticle physics\, cosmology\, and heavy-i
on physics. Through these sessions\, the symposium aims to foster in-depth
discussions and collaborations among experimental and theoretical physici
sts.\nAdditionally\, a dedicated poster session will be organized\, provid
ing an invaluable opportunity for emerging researchers to present their fi
ndings and engage with seasoned experts in the field. This forum is partic
ularly designed to encourage young scientists to showcase their innovative
research and gain constructive feedback.\nThe DAE-BRNS HEP Symposium is r
enowned for its rigorous scientific deliberations and its role in driving
forward the frontiers of knowledge in high-energy physics and related area
 s. By bringing together leading researchers and young investigators\, the
symposium not only highlights the latest advancements but also paves the w
ay for future research collaborations and discoveries.\nThe scientific pro
gram will cover the following topics:\n\nAstroparticle physics and cosmolo
gy\nBeyond the standard model\nFormal theory\nFuture experiments and detec
 tor development\nHeavy ion and QCD\nHiggs physics\nNeutrino Physics\nQuark
and lepton flavour physics\nSocietal applications\nTop Quark and EW physi

 of the proceedings.\n \nPoster Size : A1 ( Portrait size )\nThe Rahul Bas
u Memorial Award\nThe award\, coordinated through the Indian Physics Assoc
iation\, is given for the two most outstanding Ph.D. theses from India\, a
cross all areas of High Energy Physics (theoretical and experimental).\nTh
e award ceremony will be held as a part of the DAE symposium on High Energ
 y Physics\, 19th - 23rd December 2024 at the Banaras Hindu University.\n
