DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Rusa Mandal\n\nThis workshop will bring together exp
erts and researchers to discuss the latest developments in high-energy par
ticle physics\, specifically focusing on quark and lepton flavour physics.
The program is designed to facilitate comprehensive discussions on both t
heoretical and experimental aspects of the field.\nPart I: Advanced Lectur
e Series for Doctoral Students and Postdocs\nThe first part of the worksho
p will include a series of in-depth lectures by leading experts. These lec
tures are aimed at advanced doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows\, c
overing important topics in particle physics\, such as:\n\nCP violation in
B-decays\nQCD Sum Rules\nHeavy Quark Effective Theory\nIntroduction to La
ttice Gauge Theory\nQCD in FeynCalc\nNeutrino mass and mixing\nFinite temp
erature Effective Field Theory\n\nList of speakers:\n\nProf. Thomas Mannel

 abati Goswami\nProf. Subhendra Mohanty\nDr. Oliver Witzel\nDr. Vladyslav S
htabovenko\n\nPart II: Talks on Latest Discoveries and Theoretical Progres
s\nThe second part of the workshop will feature specialized talks on the l
atest experimental results and theoretical advances in quark and lepton fl
avor physics. This section is open to faculty members and researchers inte
rested in the most recent findings and future directions in the field.\n\n
\nParticipation and Registration\nParticipation in the workshop is by in
vitation only\, and there is no registration fee. Doctoral students and po
stdoctoral fellows are required to apply through the registration page. Do
ctoral applicants must also arrange for a letter of recommendation to be s
ent directly to the email address: hep.workshop@iitgn.ac.in\nRegistration
 deadline: Extended to 30th November\, 2024\nList of Participants:\nLogisti
