As part of the year-long Golden Jubilee Celebrations of H. N. B. Garhwal University, a Science Festival (विज्ञान महोत्सव) is being organized based on the National Science Day theme "Global Science for Global Wellbeing” of this year from February 28 to March 4, 2023. It is noteworthy that National Science Day is celebrated on February 28 every year to remember the great discovery of the “Raman Effect”, which substantially paved the way for the Noble Prize award in Physics to well-known Indian scientist Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman.
The events during Science Festival will facilitate to inspire the promotion of Research and Development (R&D) among students and science enthusiasts in this region. The events to be held will include popular lectures, science expo, and various competitions with attractive prizes.
