UE and MB WG¶Speakers: Deepak Kar (University of the Witwatersrand (ZA)), Dr Ramandeep Kumar (Panjab University (IN))
Experimental talks:

5. Latest Minimum Bias and Underlying Event Measurements with the ATLAS Detector
6. Jet Substructure Measurements Sensitive to Soft QCD effects with the ATLAS Detector
CMS
Expected one UE talk.
ALICE
?
Non-collaboration:
26. Interplay of underlying event and event shape observables in Z-boson events
22. Particle transverse momentum distributions in p-p Collisions at √sNN = 0.9 TeV
??? 20. J/psi production as a function of charged particle multiplicity in ALICE at the LHC
Proposal:
3 hours for our WG.
6 talks each 25 minutes = 150 minutes, time for a summary talk/discussion.
Suggestion:
We can also do 6*20 minutes, and save an hour. If other groups (MC/DPI) are interested and can contribute time, we should have generators+rivet hands on tutorial for 2-3 hours. In view of a large number of local students, we find this will be beneficial.
Request:
DK will arrive at Shimla at about 10 am on Monday. Can we please not start with MB&UE WG?
