Description

Simulation is our prime tool to describe complex final states produced in high energy collissions. Event generators have in particular been used to provide fully detailed descriptions of the final states by combining parton shower algorithms with phenomenological models. In this talk I will highlight an approach which provides a framework to construct novel parton shower and resummation algorithms at the amplitude level, alongside with a new class of hadronization models. I will present how we use such an approach as a dedicated tool as well as guidance to improve existing event generators.
