CONNECTING VIA POLYCOM

  • Use "Arrow" keys to select "Vidyo CERN" or "Vidyo Michigan" from phone directory
  • Click "Enter" key to dial and you will hear a void asking for extension number end with # key
  • Click "#" => a small dial pad will show up in the screen before you can key in extension number
  • Input extension number and end with # key: 10596689#

SUBMITTING NEW CONTRIBUTION?

(Feel free to post something here as a contribution even if its not one of the "presentations".  This way the content of our discussions is saved beyond gmail.) :

  1. Go to "Edit" by clicking the little pencil at the top of the page
  2. On the left side of the page, click on "Timetable". This will show the full timetable for this entire event, with the current day coming up by default. 
  3. On the right side, click "Add New" and then "Contribution".  Fill this in with the name of your talk and you as a contributor, and then you save.
  4. You then need to go back to the ordinary indico page via "Switch to display view", and you can then see your new contribution and upload your slides.
