DESCRIPTION: \nThe Giersch International Conference series at the Frankf
urt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS) was established in 2016 with the
generous support of the Giersch Foundation. The series is dedicated to in
terdisciplinary scientific exchange\, bringing together internationally le
ading researchers from different fields to discuss emerging topics and new
directions in science. A particular emphasis is placed on interaction wit
h early-career researchers\, fostering dialogue across disciplines and gen
erations.\nQuantum matter exhibits a remarkable range of phenomena across
vastly different energy and length scales. From Bose–Einstein condensate
s\, superfluids\, superconductors\, and topological phases to dense nuclea
r matter and the quark–gluon plasma\, strongly interacting many-body sys
tems are governed by recurring concepts such as symmetry breaking\, collec
 tive excitations\, universality\, topology\, transport\, and emergent dyna
mics. Recent advances in ultracold atoms\, quantum materials\, nuclear the
ory\, QCD\, numerical methods\, and quantum simulation are making connecti
ons between these traditionally separate fields increasingly apparent.\nTh
is conference will bring together leading researchers from atomic\, conden
sed-matter\, nuclear\, and particle physics to explore quantum matter acro
ss scales\, from condensates to QCD. By focusing on shared concepts and me
thods—including strong correlations\, superfluidity and superconductivit
 y\, symmetry and topology\, nonequilibrium dynamics\, transport\, and matt
er under extreme conditions—the meeting aims to stimulate exchange betwe
en communities that do not routinely interact\, foster new collaborations\
, and provide early-career researchers with a broad perspective on modern
 quantum many-body physics.\nTopical sessions: \n\nStrong Correlations and
Emergent Quantum Matter\nTopology and Symmetry in Quantum Systems\nUltrac
old Atoms and Quantum Simulation\nCondensates\, Superfluids\, and Supercon
 ductors\nNuclear and Dense Matter\nQCD Matter\, Transport\, and Extreme Co
nditions\n\n \nInternational Advisory Committee:  Mark Alford (Washingto
