Joint DNP/DPF community meeting December 2026

→ US/Eastern
Description

This is the fourth in a series of community meetings to further fellowship and communication between the agencies and the HENP community.

The meeting is zoom only.  Registered participants will be sent the zoom link.  It will be in webinar format.

We are also accepting abstracts for two types of contributed talks.

One is a 5+2" talk on "voice of the community".  The talk should discuss what this means to you, in the absense of NSAC/HEPAP/P5 or any replacements.  Is a "voice of the community" needed?  What is its purpose, its roles?  How does it gain legitimacy? What are its responsibilities? Why?  Four submissions will be selected.

The second is a 2 minute one-slide-only "Flash" talk.  You will have two minutes to pitch an interesting idea, bring attention to something that needs more attention, or discuss a topic of relevence to DNP or DPF.  Discussion/questions are limited to the end of all talks.  Up to 20 talks will be selected.

Both types of talks are open to members of both the DNP and DPF communities.

If you encounter any difficulties, please contact the organizers Sarah Eno (eno@umd.edu) and Nadia Fomin (nfomin@utk.edu).
