 $ limit is a fundamental theoretical framework to explore the non-perturba
 tive domain of Quantum Chromo-Dynamics (QCD) and ofnon-Abelian gauge theor
 ies in general. By virtue of the $1/N$ expansion\, it is also a useful too
 l to compute phenomenologically-relevant quantities for strong interactio
 ns. Standard lattice methods to study large-$N$ QCD consist in simulating 
 the theory for increasing gauge-group ranks\, and extrapolate finite-$N$ 
 results towards $N\\to\\infty$. The largest feasible values of $N$ are typ
 ically $O(10)$.In this seminar I will present a different framework for th
 e lattice simulation of large-$N$ gauge theories\, based on the concept of
  Eguchi-Kawai twisted large-$N$ volume independence. This property allows
  to simulate large-$N$ gauge theories on a volume-reduced 1-point lattice 
 withtwisted boundary conditions. Getting rid of the space-time degrees of 
 freedom permits to reach values of $N$ of the order of $10^2 - 10^3$.I wil
 l present the research program I am pursuing with my collaborators about t
 he study of meson dynamics in the large-$N$ limitvia twisted Eguchi-Kawai 
 reduction. I will show results for meson masses\, leading-order ChiPT low-
 energy constants\, and $\\pi-\\pi$ scattering in the large-$N$ limit.\n\n
