DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Sebastiano Di Bartolo (Catania U.\, Italy)\n\nUltra-
relativistic heavy-ion collisions at RHIC and LHC produce a strongly inter
acting quark–gluon plasma (QGP)\, a deconfined state of matter character
ized by an exceptionally low shear viscosity to entropy density ratio\, η
/s. The study of the dynamical evolution of this medium provides important
insights into the properties of strongly interacting matter under extreme
conditions.A relativistic transport approach at fixed η/s to the descrip
tion of heavy ion collisions is presented. The evolution of the system is
modeled through the relativistic Boltzmann equation\, including the event-
by-event fluctuations of the initial geometry. Particular attention is dev
oted to the early stages of the collision\, where the dynamics is describe
d by the Glasma\, a state of color fields governed by Yang–Mills theory.
The developed framework is employed to investigate physical observables\,
such as spectra and flow coefficients and to study the role of transport c
oefficients in the medium evolution. The results are finally compared with
  experimental measurements.\n\nhttps://indico.global/event/18253/
