DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Nils Huesken (JGU Mainz)\n\nAbstract:\nThe quarkoniu
m spectrum is well understood below the open-flavour threshold. Above thre
shold\, however\, experiments have found a large number of new\, potential
ly exotic hadrons that do not always match our expectations for regular qu
arkoonium hadrons - the XYZ states. Experiments like BESIII\, using 𝑒+
𝑒− annihilation to produce pairs of heavy quarks\, are particularly w
ell suited to study the vector quarkonia. In this talk\, I will discuss re
cent measurements of open- and hidden-flavour production above threshold\,
as well as a path towards a common interpretation of that data using a co
 upled-channel approach.\n\nhttps://indico.global/event/18033/
