DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Arushi Bodas (FNAL/UChicago)\n\nQuantum sensing prov
ides novel techniques that can accelerate searches for dark matter (DM). R
ecent proposals use entangled GHZ states for wave-like DM sensing\, where
quadratic scaling of the signal can be achieved through coherent addition
of amplitudes from each qubit. In this talk\, I will show that unlike anal
ogous schemes in conventional cavity setups\, this scaling advantage persi
sts even at the level of scan-rate in the entangled-qubit scheme\, demonst
rating genuine speedup over cavity experiments. I will also show that this
favorable scaling can allow GHZ states of ~ 100 qubits to compete with da
rk photon cavity searches for DM masses ≳ 50 𝜇eV.\n\nhttps://indico.g
