Description

Abstract:

I am presenting an overview of my work on the TERZINA detector and the LACTEL array. The TERZINA detector aboard the NUSES satellite aims to detect extensive air showers from low earth orbit using a SIPM based imaging sensor poitned at the limb. The LACTEL project is a two layer water cherenkov detector array, reusing the optical modules of the ANTARES detector, that is to be deployed in lake geneva that aims to use its double layer design to effectively distinguish electromagnetic and hydronic showers.
