DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Alessia Platania (NBI\, University of Copenhagen)\,
Marc Schiffer\, Benjamin Knorr\n\nUnraveling the quantum nature of gravity
is one of the most pressing problems of theoretical physics. Several idea
s have been put forward and have resulted in several theories of quantum g
ravity. While these theories have explored different facets of the "quantu
m gravity landscape"\, all viable approaches should ultimately make contac
t with observations and answer exciting questions in cosmology and black-h
 ole physics.\n \nSharing knowledge\, exchanging ideas\, and building a di
ctionary among different theories are crucial steps toward answering these
questions\, efficiently contrasting them\, and ultimately reaching a deep
er understanding of our Universe.\n \nThis conference will contribute to
these goals by bringing together leading experts in different approaches t
 o quantum gravity\, gravitational effective field theory\, black-hole phys
ics\, and cosmology. We will focus on specific puzzles in quantum gravity
and their resolutions within different approaches. The conference will be
highly interactive\, with plenty of time to discuss common problems\, unde
rstand the big picture\, and develop novel connections between fields.\n
\nThis is the second edition of the conference. The first edition was held
at Perimeter Institute in 2023.\n \nTopics include: effective field theo
 ry\, amplitudes\, s-matrix bootstrap\, non-commutative geometry\, string t
heory and the swampland program\, loop quantum gravity and spin foams\, as
ymptotic safety and dynamical triangulations\, causal sets\, group field t
 heory\, and quantum gravity phenomenology.\n \nInvited speakers:\n \n\n\

nts can apply to present a poster\, which will be presented through a gong
show and a poster session. There will also be a poster prize for the best
poster\, which will include the possibility of giving a talk towards the
end of the conference.\nThere is a conference fee of 155 EUR\, which cover
s lunches and coffee breaks. After we approve your registration\, you will
receive payment instructions for the conference fee\, to be paid by July
15th. After we confirm the payment\, your registration is completed.\nWe a
re looking forward to welcoming you to Graz!\n\nhttps://indico.global/even
