Description
Atomic systems provide a unique platform for probing physics beyond the Standard Model. I will give a brief overview of how combining experiment with atomic theory enables sensitive searches for new physics, including tests of fundamental symmetries, electroweak interactions, and light dark sector candidates. I will focus in particular on scattering in atomic systems as a tool for accessing neutrino interactions and searching for exotic particles.
