Quantum Computing: Opportunities and beyond
by
Seminar Hall
Department of Physics
The next era of computation isn't just faster—it’s fundamentally different.
We are currently witnessing the transition from theoretical physics to a practical technological revolution. While classical computers from the smartphone in your pocket to the world’s most powerful supercomputers process information in bits of 0s and 1s, quantum computers leverage the strange and beautiful laws of subatomic particles to explore a landscape of infinite possibilities.
In this talk, Harish, our former M.Sc student who later joined a MS programme in high performance computing in Germany will shed light on the skills required for Quantum Computing and courses abroad that train you in these skills. In addition he will also give an overview on job opportunities in the field and the future of quantum computing.
