Description
Cosmological phase transitions provide a rich framework where particle physics and cosmology intersect. In this talk, I will discuss how phase transitions can address some key puzzles of the early Universe. In particular, I will discuss how strong washout processes in leptogenesis are suppressed during strong first-order phase transitions, how phase transitions can enhance the dark matter relic density, and how the inverse symmetry breaking arises. Together, those studies demonstrate the cosmological impact of phase transitions beyond the Standard Model.
