In this journal club, I would like to lead an informal discussion on the computation history of the effective two-body dynamics within the PN approach, computed from EFT methods and multiloop techniques. This is the first part of two discussions where, in this first meeting, I would like to focus on the computation of static contributions only. In the following (to be held on the 30th), I plan to focus on the remaining, all-corrections-in-velocity parts. The discussion of the first meeting will mostly be based on the following papers: [1612.00482][1] Effective field theory approach to the gravitational two-body dynamics, at fourth post-Newtonian order and quintic in the Newton constant [1902.10571][2] Static two-body potential at fifth post-Newtonian order [2512.19498][3] Six-loop gravitational interactions at the sixth post-Newtonian order [1902.11180][4] Five-Loop Static Contribution to the Gravitational Interaction Potential of Two Point Masses [1912.03089][5] The Gravitational Potential of Two Point Masses at Five Loops [1]: https://arxiv.org/abs/1612.00482 [2]: https://arxiv.org/abs/1902.10571 [3]: https://arxiv.org/abs/2512.19498 [4]: https://arxiv.org/abs/1902.11180 [5]: https://arxiv.org/abs/1912.03089
