Graz Women in Math is hosting the sixth “Austrian Day of Women in Mathematics” on 26-27 February 2026.

The conference will take place in the Department of Mathematics and Scientific Computing at Heinrichstrasse 36, 8010 Graz.

The aim of this event is to bring mathematicians together to:

  • highlight achievements of women and non-binary mathematicians

  • develop a network which fosters interdisciplinary collaborations

  • promote mutual support, such as career advice and mentoring

  • give young women and non-binary researchers the opportunity to present their work

  • discuss hot topics

Participants: all genders - come and support your peers and listen to their exciting research!

 

Notice: Please note that photos will be taken during the event.

A tentative program with the names of the invited speakers will be published in October. The event will start with lunch on Thursday 26 and will finish at 12:30 on Friday 27.

There will also be parallel sessions and poster presentations where everyone is invited to participate.

A conference dinner will be offered on Thursday night.

Registration will open in October.

For this event there is no conference fee but the registation is mandatory.
