Description

The project to form a Collaborative Computational Project in Theoretical and Experimental Particle Physics (CCP-TEPP) is funded by the STFC Centre for Computational Science Communities (CoSeC) to bring together the theory and experimental particle physics communities to discuss and overcome common challenges in computation and software.

Following a series of scoping and discussion workshops through the first half of 2025, this meeting will bring together the various parts of the community to present work on topics of common interest.

Topics for presentation include:

  • Applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence to particle physics
  • Hardware and software infrastructure
  • Documentation, testing, and code quality of software
  • Accelerators and performance portability
  • Quantum computing
  • Reproducible data analysis and workflow management

Confirmed speakers include

  • Peter Boyle, Brookhaven National Laboratory
  • Monica D'Onofrio, University of Liverpool
  • Simon Hands, DiRAC and University of Liverpool
  • Sam Goodwood, University of Liverpool
  • Enrico Rinaldi, Quantinuum
