The THAI-JUNO School on Neutrino Physics aims to bring together Thai young scientists in the field of neutrino physics. The school will be held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand on 6 - 10 June 2025, jointly by Chulalongkorn University (CU), Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) and Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), China.  

Lectures will cover the following topics: 
- Basic knowledge of neutrino
- Introduction to JUNO experiment
- Statistical analysis for JUNO
- Data analysis for JUNO-PMT
- JUNO software   

The targets of the school are young faculties/researchers, postgraduates and senior undergraduates who are working on or interested in neutrino physics and related areas.

Participation: 
 
We accept a limited number of 30 students with a clear interest in the neutrino physics or related areas. For application, please provide:
            • CV
            • Statement of interest (not exceeding one A4 page)
Combine your documents into one pdf file and upload it in the registration form. 
 
Note: The deadline for registration and upload the file is May 16, 2025.

Support:

Financial support is available to cover travel and local expense for the limited number of participants.

  • Selected applicants will receive free shared accommodation including breakfast, lunch and one banquet.   
    • For local particpants who do not stay in Bangkok, the local transportation will be supported. (เบิกได้ตามระเบียบค่าเดินทางในประเทศ  เบิกได้ตามที่จ่ายจริงโดยไม่เกินค่ายานพาหนะประจำทาง หรือ ค่ารถไฟไม่เกินชั้น 2  ทั้งนี้สามารถเดินทางโดยเครื่องบินได้  แต่จะเบิกได้สูงสุดตามอัตราค่ายานพาหนะประจำทางหรือรถไฟ)
