A : Indeed, benchmarks must be clearly defined. Definition would be community driven / consensus-based.

Michael Kagan (AI): How is AI/ML scope covered by HFCC S&C and HFCC AI/ML?

Srini : AIM group is expected to collaborate/coordinate cross cutting issues

Ariel (IDS): The field has not yet answered question of what is role of fast timing at HF. Would that sort of question be covered by this group?

Answer: Yes, US efforts to develop the physics case for fast timing in various sub-systems (and similar physics studies) would be coordinated by the AIM group in close and efficient collaboration with ongoing international efforts.
