Conformal Collider Physics in Heavy States

09:30 - 10:30
I will discuss energy correlators and related event-shape observables in states created by heavy operators in conformal field theories, both with and without an internal charge. I will argue that these observables are universally described by hydrodynamic effective field theories, leading to model-independent predictions. I will also clarify the regime of validity of this effective description for event-shape observables, as well as its limitations.
