Description

The 1st “Asian-European-Institutes Workshop for BSM” (AEI Workshop for BSM in short) is the successor of the previous Durham IPPP-KEK-KIPMU-KIAS Joint Workshop held at KIPMU (2016), KIAS (2017), Durham (2017), and Ikaho, Shibukawa in Japan (2018).

This year one of the organizers, Michihisa Takeuchi, moved from KIPMU to KMI, Nagoya University. And the name of the meeting is changed to AEI Workshop for BSM, considering a possibility that new institutes may join this meeting in the future.

The aim of this meeting is to gather theorists from each participating institute together and share their new research results on particle physics and cosmology, especially on BSM. And there will be some overview talks by experts in the fields. This joint workshop will provide opportunities for collaborations between researchers from different institutes, and help young researchers to be exposed better in the community.

The workshop in this year is organized by KIAS, and will be held at “Shilla Stay Jeju” during Nov. 4-8. And it will be combined with the 9th KIAS workshop on particle physics and cosmology.
